The DrillSense Electronic Drilling Recorder (EDR) was developed by DHI to provide a state of the art hardware/software platform to build sophisticated FE systems. We chose to utilize a native hazardous/harsh location Ethernet Data Acquisition electronics and Microsoft .NET technologies. The system has every parameter required for sophisticated offshore operations and the means to display it.

DrillSense will accept data from any sensor as well as import/export WITS feeds.

Processing includes the full suite, including: lag, block velocities and heave, expected values, bit and annular hydraulics, alarms, TVD, LAS and optional services.

Every remote display allows user interaction such as customizing local displays and scrolling through historical data.

VSAT satellite deployment allows us to transmit real-time drilling data to our web services as well as provide rig-site internet access and facilitate online quality control.
